Hello Lesley! You are from the Isle of Islay, eh? I have seen some videos of there. Looks beautiful there! They have some pretty awesome whisky breweries there, right? I don't drink the stuff, but I do hear that they make some fine whisky...especially the Ardbeg.
Anyway, welcome to you if I have not welcomed you before.

Hi my name is Neil aged 49 born in Bonnyrigg approx 9 miles south of Edinburgh and have only move three miles south to the Gorebridge area of Midlothian. Was in the motor trade for many years but not now. I now spend my time looking after my wife Christine who is disabled with Artheritis. We like to travel as you will have seen already with the photo`s I have submitted so far. I spend most of my free time between the computer and garden. And since we have not long moved to the present house I have a lot of gardening to do to bring it the way we want it to look. we both like watching Ice Hockey - Motor Rallying and Rugby. We also enjoy listning to music which we can combine with our driving in the Scottish Countryside. We also like to find out more and more about our local history. And keep finding more every time we go and look at something which catches our eye. We also like to share the information we have with others.
Neil

my name is Mike, I am from Hamburg/Germany, married, 2 kids, (14 and 11 years old). In 1972 I visited Scotland the first time when I was 16 years old. It was an unforgettable hitch-hike tour from Hamburg to the Highlands. Since that time I have to visit Scotland regularly because my heart is still there. Meanwhile my whole family got 'Scotland-crazy' and we go there every two year. This year in July we will be there for 4 weeks. I'm working in the EDP, i like humor, writing books (for kids), play guitar, listen to music, computers and lots more. So long, Mike McNass
