Last time we were in Scotland was in January. We hope to go in summer again, next year of course and take our dog with us. So this will be the time we travel with our car and take a ferry. Need to work something out, sure there are a few appropriate routes and we still have plenty of time!

Hi Andi We over here in Scotlands would like to help you all plan your trips. By providing you all with information etc. The two Ferry Terminals appear to be Hull in the North East of England and Rosyth on the Fife side of the Firth of Forth. The only problem I can read at the moment is your dog. I am not sure what the rules would be or bringing our dog over on the Ferry. Neil

Hi Neil, thanks for your help. As far as I know superfast ferries allows pets in cabins and kennels (valid health documents are required of course), though not too sure about it. Rosyth would be great but I suppose we have to take a shorter route unless there are enough dog facilities on a long route. Have you met Judy yet?

Hi to you all I have just recieved an email from Scone Palace an would to share some of the content with you all.
SCONE PALACE REACHES FOR THE STARS
We are delighted to announce that Scone Palace and Grounds have been awarded a prestigious 5 star quality assurance rating from VisitScotland, Scotland's national tourism agency. Administrator Elspeth Bruce says, ' We are delighted that the hard work of the team here at Scone has been recognised in this way. This award confirms our reputation as one of Scotland's top visitor attractions'.
This is good news for not just Scone Palace but the areas close to the Palace as they wil also see an increase in passing trade.
Andi we have not meet up with Jude yet. But this will be happening very soon.

Is that the one near the motorway up north? #confused# Think I've seen a sign of the palace before. Need to check it out one day, there are so many places you just pass by when on the motorway and never get round to have a closer look.

Yes Andi As you cross the Forth Road Bridge heading north the Ferry Terminal is over to your left. The old Dock Yards.

I have some news to tell. I will be in Scotland for a weekend in November (3th-5th) with my Mum and do some (Christmas) shopping. We decided to stay close to the airport due to the lack of time and money so that weekend will be in Ayr. We will be flying over on Friday evening and coming back on the Sunday. The tickets are so cheap at this time of year, I just couldn't resist plus I live so close to the airport than ever before. I'm very happy that I'll be able to fly over before our big hols next summer. Mum and I are both looking forward to a short break. If all pans out Hamish will have a weekend with his brother near Stirling two weeks later.

Oh I love to get that done early. I hope to get most of the presents there. Nothing better than a stress-free December if you ask me. ;D
