Great pics of a beautiful country, Rose. Quite the difference to what you are used to in Arizona, I think; bet you enjoyed this difference for a holiday!

Oooh horse riding! I'm so jealous! I love horses and it's been ages since my last ride. Just haven't got the opportunities and time over here. I loved the pics, Rose, they're just great and I really enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing!

Hey thanks everyone! Elly and Weewummn! Actually a friend of mine made that avatar for just lil ole me! I told him what I wanted and he put it together. It's supposed to represent me as an American with Scots ancestry. I am so proud of it! Glad you like it! Sorry, no Indian Elly. I didn't see any up there even though we were surrounded by the reservations. However, all the towns up there are all Indian names. It is really cool. I also bought a book on the Lewis and Clark expedition too. Dreamy! It was very different up there from what I am used to. A nice change really. All the rain got on my nerves cause it is wet and muddy all the time and I had to wear shoes and I hate wearing shoes! It was just so beautiful up there, but there is no place like home and no shoes! ;D Andi, you love horses?! I am terrified of them! I didn't ride one. My nephew drove a tracker and I sat on the back of it to take photos of the others riding. The chicken that I am. Thanks for taking the time to look, y'all!

Wait a minute. Were you all talking about my avatar or sig? The sig I did pinch off of a Scottish military site. It is supposed to be at Culloden and after the battle and the Lone Piper is there playing over his fallen comrades. Such a sad scene, but I love the painting.

I always enjoyed the presence of horses, they're absolutely great creatures. Just haven't got the time to start riding again.

I don't trust horses! I think they are marvelous, beautiful creatures but everyone I know has been thrown off one and I was almost thrown off one and never got back on it again! so they scare me! But it would help to have riding lessons as I never have! LOL The Blue Sail is a form of a jelly fish. They are native to that area and depending on what direction the wind blows on the water, they tend to wash up and be all over the sand. They are quite messy and mushy to step on and stink as well! But I still thought they were cool as I had never seen one! thanks Weewummin on my avatars. I rather like them both as well.
