Tartan for Shrek The Borders knitwear company of Lochcarron has produced a new specially-designed tartan for a Scottish film star. No, not Sean Connery - Shrek, the cinematic ogre with a Scottish accent (well, nearly Scottish...) The tourism agency VisitScotland came up with the idea in advance of the release of Shrek the Third. The tartan is described as "muted browns and acid greens" and is aimed at encouraging people to trace their own Scottish roots. Shrek, presumably has done so and may be a member of the clan Nessie? Being of somewhat ample girth, they needed 10 metres of cloth to make Shrek's kilt, which he wore for advance publicity shots prior to the launch of the movie.

Yes it is so very sad Andi, I never heard till Krystal sent me a message on my phone, she was really shocked, she really admired him, never quite forgave me for liking Jason Issacs cos he killed Heath in 'The Patriot' but he seemed such a lovely young bloke, so tragically young, was quite a shock, as he seemed to live his life away from the Hollywood style. Your heart just goes out to his family.

I am so very heart broken over this news of Heath. I can't even express how much sadness I feel. I regarded him as one of the finest actors of our day. I am sure all this was an accidental death. I am keeping up with everything and anything in regards to him. My heart goes out to his beloved friends and family. What a horrible tragedy. My prayers and thoughts go out to all who loved him and were close to him. May you be in peace, Heath. We miss you! The world is at such a greater loss without you.

Last I heard, his family were bringing the body home to West Australia, there seems to be some sort of delay in phoning the official help line, seemingly it was a masseur that found him unconscious, and phoned one of the Olsen twins whom he was friendly with, don't know Andi, suppose the truth will come out eventually, but his family must be devastated with the news he 'might' have been saved, whether that is just newspaper rubbish, who knows?

Ok, the latest news I recieved was that Mary Kate Olsen was good friends with Heath and she recommended this particular massuse. Unfortuantely, not that it would have mattered, the massuese was not liscenend or trained in CPR, which is required by law. A lot of stushie has been blamed on her for not being trained and for taking so long to call 911. But consider this. He was a celebrity and she had to be careful, panic could have set in...I know it would have for me! I am sure the woman did the best she could given the circumstances. Plus, he was dead way before the maseuse showed up anyway.
Such a sad loss and I am still so very upset about it all.

Yes your right Rosemary, its not like they can make that decision to phone through the normal procedures which we live by, it could all backfire on them, the poor woman was put in an impossible situation really.
the last I heard early this morning that now they think Heath might have died from natural causes, was reading a bit in the papers here about him, they did a tribute pull out, never knew his rightful name was Heathcliffe, as from the Bronte book, but anyway no doubt when all the tests are in we will know more and more important his family will know exactly what happened to their loved one.

I was so shocked when I heard about his death, what a loss, he was a very good actor and the way to become a brilliant one, one of the really great ones. What a loss. Words just do not seem to be enough here.

Now some idiot is putting out a video where he was using drugs. I am sure his family does not appreciate this. I am so thankful his body is back in Australia to be buried. I am anxious to hear cause of death. He was very exhausted from working and had a lot of stress on him. Either way I wish and pray for him rest in peace and that his family can be near him whenever they need be. He was one of my favorite actors, so I have been trying to keep track on what is latest on Heath. And what a beautiful name, Heathcliffe!
How far is Perth from you, Elly, where he shall be buried?
