HAGGIS SEASON STARTS TODAY AT NOON
It's nearly haggis hunting time again!. The Hunt begins on 30 November at 12 noon GMT.
At haggishunt.com we have revived a fine old Scottish tradition: the hunting of the haggis.
To encourage the resurgence of this great pastime, we are offering some great prizes, including bottles of champagne, Scotsman calendars and passes to The Scotsman's Digital Archive. More great prizes will be announced soon, so watch this space!
If you snare a Golden haggis you'll have a chance to win our grand prize. Last season it was two nights of luxury at the world famous Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire.
But fear not, to win you do not need to go out onto the hills, nor will you have to harm one of these rare creatures (haggishunt.com is totally environmentally friendly). You can hunt the haggis from the comfort of your computer.
Simply browse through our ten haggis-cams, which are located in various parts of our beautiful country (and in London and New York, for the benefit of the haggis diaspora). If you see a haggis, click on the "I saw a haggis" link displayed under the cam. You will then need to login or register (free) if you are a first time hunter. You will then be entered into a draw for one of our great prizes.
Enjoy browsing the haggis-cams and while enjoying Scotland's natural beauty, plan your strategy for the hunt.

Well the Haggis Hunting seaon is well under way. And I am very pleased to say that I have spotted my first Haggis of the new season. And to prove this I have managed to get a photo of it crosing the Gleneagles Golf Coarse car park. And then spotted my second haggis on the Mull of Galloway camera.
