The World of Motor Sport will arrive in Lanark - Lanarkshire - Scotland on the 24th and 25th Feb 2007. At the Agricultural Centre.
This show will include Trade Stalls and Motor Sport Displays. Plus also many famous names in Motor Sport from Yester years to present day.
On show shall be Historic Formula 1 Cars - The Famous Ross Swift Mini Display Team - Plus 4x4 Off Road Experience - Am amazing Motorbike Jump over a Moving Lorry And not forgetting Allan McNishs Audi R8 Le Man Sportcar.
The entire weekend has been organised with the help of the McRae Motorsport. The main people behind McRae Motorsport are five times British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae and two his three sons.
1995 British Rally Champion Alister McRae
1996 World Rally Champion Colin McRae.
Who are also going to compete over a purpose built Rally Stage. Plus they are going to offer to take the public round for a small fee.
All I can personally say is well done to McRae Motorsport for helping to organise this what should be a great weekend for Scottish Motor Sport.

We are not sure if we can make it to this show or not yet.
Ps Wonder if Jimmy McRae wants his ordance Survey map number 79 with Castle O er Forrest on it back again.
To explain this I was Marshalling on the Stop line of Castle O er Stage back in he mid 1980s when Jimmy`s Wife came over to me and said that Jimmy had left this map in the hotel and could I hand it to his Navigator. On looking at the map it was what is known as a marked map. ( All danger areas are marked ) .
So I had the same area map with me but not marked. So just as they were about to leave the Stop Line I handed the map to Jimmy`s Navigator and they headed for the next Forrest stage called Twiglees. Jimmy`s wife came back and thanked me for handing the map to Jimmy`s Navigator. It was approx 5 minutes later that things hotted up at Twiglees Start line as Jimmy McRae had now just found out he had a none marked map in his car.
And to this day I still have the marked map.
So perhaps I should go and hand the map back to him.
