They did : 2:0! Germany also scored; they beat Slovakia 2:1, so this was a very enjoyable football night!

But will they make it? If they dont make the second place... What about the third? Are they qualified, too?

What about the third? Are they qualified, too? No, they aren't because in contrary to previous EM's there is NO relegation for the EM 2008. That means that the teams on rank 1 and 2 of each qualification group are qualified directly; plus Austria and Switzerland as hosts plus present EM champion team. So all teams at rank 3 are the big losers this time.

Well, the German team finally did it and reached the final on Sunday. They didn't have the best performance but other than other "big" teams like Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, France etc. they managed to win their matches. In the end this is what counted - a victory.
Spain is playing an excellent football. If the Germans are able to perform like they did vs. Portugal they have a chance to win, if it's a performance like last time (vs. Turkey) - oh my oh my...
I hope we will see an exiting and good match with two teams peerforing well and fighting bravely! But of course I keep my fingers crossed; I'm German, what can I do, eh?
