Thank you for the link; I loved the pics. I think this is where I would have loved to be in person. Wow, the Saltire in the sky; very special, I'd say...

This is a bit of a special image. Only about 20 of us were permitted to accompany the coffin from the street, through the gates and up to St. Kentigern's. The Spirit of Wallace, come home again - www.aztech.ws/images/scotland/2005 276.jpg[/img]

Sorry for the delay in writting. But I am just new to the forum. I also was at Lanark on the Sunday Afternoon down in the park and had the camera a the ready for some good photos. Now though a question for you all. Do any of you know who the female is or connection she has to to a certain film about William Wallace. ?. Just wondering I know the answer just wondering about anyone else though.

Elly, I had either missed or forgotten the image of the plaque that was made in support of David Ross' efforts, that you used in your intial post. Here is an image of Ross and the plaque, taken in the Tartan Arms, after the 2005 Bannockburn Commemoration - I note that both of our names are on that plaque, too. ;D

It's a very special feeling to see it in David's hands finally! Thank you for posting this pic, Mike.
