Oh duh! I should have looked at the map before I asked. Ayr is considered central belt then. :-X
Actually, that is a really nice map, Elly. It explains a lot of what I didn't know what was where. For example, I always wondered where the Highlands began. Now I know. Thanks! :-*

Thanks! :-* No Ayr isn`t considered part of the Central Belt but parts of North AYRSHIRE are, so don`t go banging your head again :)

Oh, now I am confused. Where part of Scotland is Ayr considered then? Is it in South Ayrshire? Maybe if I got MY map out that would help. Except I can't find it in my messy studio.

Oh! This is great! Thanks! That really helped. I think part of my problem was that I was getting the town of Ayr and county of Ayrshire mixed up. I was trying to put them together as one........duh! How far is Ayr from Glasgow? Looks pretty close on the map. Have you been all around your country and the isles too?

Hi Dessie how you doing ? nice to see you , myself i have seen much of Scotland of course not everything . As with the Isles several i have seen mostly in my childhood , the Orkney and Shetland Isles i still have to see .

It`s the way Scotland was originally before the powers to be decided to change it all #lights#
for example, Ayr was in Ayrshire, then Ayrshire and Carrick then Strathclyde Region now its South Ayrshire so who the hell knows #laugh#
