Well all seem to go OK with the photos as Midlothian was still here when I woke up morning. So looks like I worked it OK. it was the first time submitting photos the way described and glad it worked out OK. So here goes again. These photos were taken from the top of the hilto therear of my house looking down onto our small village. The hills in the Back ground are the Pentland Hills. Hope this give you an idea of what it looks like beside us. And an idea of the size of our village.

Oh they turned out terrific, Neil! Sometimes photobucket goes down and doesn't post our pics, but they always come back up. some folks use other sites, but I just usually stick to photobucket since they are free.
Really terriic! You love photography, don't you? May I ask what kind of camera you use?

Hi again to you all. I have been out for a drive in the Lothian countryside this afternoon with Christine. The weather is good at the moment with the temperture around the high 60`s low 70`s and not much wind and very bright nut a slight heat haze. We left Gorebridge and headed east for what is known localy as the Lammermuir Hills in East Lothian Which is about 9 miles south of Haddington.. After a 30 minute drive we arrived at the bottom of the Lammermuirhills. When we go to the top of the Lammermuir Hill we had great views looking north over the Firth of Forth and Fife. But we also had the chance to spot a Curlew Nesting in the Heather not to far from the road. Hope you can spot it in the picture. From the top we headed east dropping down and past the Whiteadder Reservoir. this is in fact man made. From here we headed south to the village of Chirnside made famous by Jim Clerk the racing driver. then on even more back road as we call them and cross the river called Whiteadder Water. Yes you seen correct theriver crosses theroad at this point. So you have to cross with great care. From here we headed for the fishing town of Eyemouth. Where we had some food and even watched the Seals in the harbour getting fed. Then we headed north and back home again stopping to take some more great views for you all. hope you have enjoyed my short drive in the Lothians countryside. And if so please look out for of my tours. Please feel free to ask questions regards todays tour. I shall try my best to answer your questions. Neil
