Hello to you all.
The Cairngorms Mountain Area is located south of Inverness and the Village of Aviemore normally becomes the Ski-ing capital of Scotland during the winter monthes.
While attending the Clann An Drumma Concert on Saturday both Christine and myself stopped a few times on the journey north to take some photos. So that we could show you some of the wonderfull views you get mainly from parking places on the A9.
Looking west from Layby 62. yesthe Laybys are all numbered to make it easier for the tourists.
Looking North from Layby 62 . The rain stopped one north of this point.
Take approx 8 miles south of Newtonmore just of the A9
This one I am thinking of using for my desktop photo
Now just north of Aviemore on the back road between Boat of Garton and Aviemore.
Low cloud over the Cairngorm Mountains.
When we arrived at the venue for the Clann An Drumma Concert which was being organised by the Dunedin Harley Davidson Owners Group from Edinburgh. There were plenty of motor bikes on show. This is just a few of the Harley Davidsons. I say just a few as the club went out for run in the afternoon with over 1000 motor bikes taking part.
Harley Davidson Racing model. Complete with our car in the back ground.
Harley Davidson tourer.
And to think I travelled to Aviemore to take photos of this Bike from the Edinburgh area.
And on both mud guards is the following information.
This is Christines favourite bike at the show.
Looking from the venue to the Cairngorm Mountains.
Rainbow over Aviemore Railway Station.
Hope you enjoyed the photos of our journey north to Aviemore.
Will now go and submit the Clann An Drumma concert photos in the music section.
Neil
