there are lots of books on Elizabeth, in the non-fiction I've read the Alison Weir one which is very good, 'Legacy' by Susan Kay is a great book in novel form, I loved this book and it sticks pretty close to reality. My Enemy The Queen, by Victoria Holt, who also writes as Jean Plaidy another book which I haven't been able to get a copy of so far 'Two Queens In One Isle: The Deadly Relationship of Elizabeth 1 and Mary Queen of Scots' by Alison Plowden, is supposed to be very good too, actually she seems to have wrote a lot of books on the Tudors, 'Danger To Elizabeth is supposed to be good too, I'll put a list below of ones I have read and would recommend or have been recommended to me, and anyone else can add their thoughts or their own recommendations.
Legacy - Susan Kay
My Enemy the Queen - Victoria Holt
The Life Of Elizabeth1 - Alison Weir
The Queens Bastard - Robin Maxwell
Danger To Elizabeth - Alison Plowden
'Two Queens In One Isle: The Deadly Relationship of Elizabeth 1 and Mary Queen of Scots' by Alison Plowden
Elizabeth - David Starkey
