Hi , As a former Soldier , i have always followed the past and current events of our Brave Men and Women , serving in sometimes , in some deadly combat zone . Since 2002 , troops from many Nations have been sent to a very violent , sadly killing zone for many Fallen Soldiers . I have always , not only due to my own experiencies , expressed my support to the Troops , whatever Nation . My opinion was made even more as a damm good mate of mine , came back in one piece from Afgahnistan , last year . As we talked and drunk a few , i thought i had seen bad but his experiencies were worse . The Moral of what i would like to say is , i am glad that Tony Blair is sending Troops back . The Iraq Police and Army should take over soon , saving countless lives in not our own but other Soldiers, from other Countries.

Never will forget the nights when my father was drunken. He was a high decorated officer during 2nd world war and he lost many of his 'boys' in russia. War is good for nothing...

I am glad too Hamish that starting to withdraw the brave men and women from Iraq is on the drawing board, hope others follow suit, there has been too many lives lost there already and too many horrors to have been witnessed.

I always thought that especially the war in Iraq was started because of wrong reasons. Let me say it this quite nice way. I'm very happy for every nation deciding to take their soldiers back home. Too many losses, too many broken dreams and families, too many souls dead or hurt for a lifetime, too much horror they have been through - and what for? I'm def no fan of Mr. Blair but this is one right decision at least.

I hate war as well. unfortunately it is part of life in this world. I am not saying it is the answer, but it happens. I have really mixed feelings about why we are there. But at the same time commend Tony Blair for withdrawing troops and !I hope our President will follow suit....soon!
