On 29 December 2005, I was fortunate to be in Scotland for the Robert 'Rob Roy' MacGregor Commemoration, that took place in Balquhidder. Here are some pictures of the day - Gathering outside the Kings House Hotel, for the two-mile march to Balquhidder. Hallo Mike #wave# Great pics for us, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness #tartanberet#
It`s been a wee while since I`ve been there but love the area and it even snowed, just beautiful, I don`t think I`ve ever saw the grave without a wee posy of flowers even if its just wild heather which kind of suits the man.
thank you so much Mike.

Hi Elly! How have you been?
I'm happy that everyone enjoyed the piccies. It was an incredibly cold day, but the beauty of the area made you forget to shiver. To have been asked to take part in the commemoration service was an honor, indeed.
I'm hoping to go back in late June, for the Bannockburn Commemoration, but flights are priced dearly at that time of year. We shall see...
