Starting reading 'The Secret Supper' another book on Da vinci's secrets, and the interest The Inquisition had in him, by a spanish author, Javier Sierra, about half way through it and really like it, find it better that Dan Brown's book so far but see how it goes.

"FIVE EUPHEMIAS: Women In Medieval Scotland 1200-1420" by Elizabeth Sutherland "Through the lives of these five women, all related, all called Euphemia, and one of them Queen of the Scots, Elizabeth Sutherland covers 200 years of Scottish history. This book casts new light on the Scots'' fierce fight for freedom. '' sounds good Llady, haven't heard of that one before, will have a look out for it, thanks for that #ssmile# I hadn't heard of it either elly, but while doing a computer search in my favorite book store I saw it and ordered it. I'll let you know what I think about it once I'm done.

Just finished read Barbara Erskine's new novel 'Daughters Of Fire' like most of her book its a time travel sort of novel, the main character in this one being Cartimandua, a young Celtic queen around 2000 years ago, whom I must say have never heard of before, she reigned the north the same time as Boudecea ruled the south, it is a fascinating book, I really loved it. ;D www.harpercollins.co.uk/books/default.aspx?id=29344

Yes I finished it Roper, I really enjoyed it, its set in the time that DaVinci was painting 'The Last Supper', when he was being investigated by Rome for heresy.#ssmile#
This is the book blurb
January of 1497, Fray Augustin Leyre, a Dominican Inquisitor and expert on the interpretation of secret messages, is sent to supervise Leonardo Da Vinci's last touches to "The Last Supper" painting. He was sent by Alejandro VI who had heard that Da Vinci was painting the twelve apostles without their halo of sanctity, that the chalice was missing, and that Leonardo had painted himself in the painting with his back to Jesus. This could have sent him to the inquisition. Why then did he do this? Was Leonardo Da Vinci a heretic? Full of misleading facts and controversies, "The Secret Supper" reveals the truth behind Da Vinci's best-known Christian piece. After finishing this novel, you'll never see "The Last Supper" in the same way again.

Just finished reading 'Pig Island' by Mo Hayder Was very good, about a sceptical journalist, going to investigate strange goings on in a west of Scotland island, must admit it was the jacket that attracted me to it in the library, but enjoyed it very much. Sounds a bit like The Wicker Man and there are a few similarities but is completely enthralling.
