It is a book which is very hard to put down when you start to read. Dan Brown has put very much research in his book. You will enjoy it!

I have started on the first book of Penman's Welsh trilogy, "Here Be Dragons". It's settled in the thirtennth century dealing with Wales during the time of the English King John... It's the story of Llewelyn, Prince of North Wales, who was dreaming of uniting Wales. I really love the book; I have only be reading a quarter of it yet but I can tell already that it's one of the best historical novels I have ever read! It`s great your enjoying them Dreamy, it gets better and better as you get into it, and gives a good insight into who `Longshanks` really was

Thanks Andi, I have not started reading Angels and Demons yet, because a friend of mine gave me a book that her father has written and just published it is called Do-Tell hear the corn grow by Ray L Ruby. it is a book about his child hood growing up during the depression in Missouri and it is actually entertaining and gives me some insite into why my dear friend Lori is the way she is

Hi roper , how you doing ? i read Angels and Demons and was really impressed with Dan Browns background research . I was never in Rome but reading his book and checking out his maps , he gave me a slight feeling of finding my way . He touches on a subject which is mostly left in peace , meaning the Catholic Church . His book " The Da Vinci Code " is even more a thorn in the eye for the Catholic Church , i myself not being Catholic . Started to read this book very much opened minded , what i have read up until now is heavy stuff for this Church . One thing i always have believed in is that the Vatican knows more than they let on .

Hi Smudger. I so totally agree with you about the Catholic Church the Vatican officials know more, that they do not tell (no offense to any one here, that is Catholic, btw I am) I read The Da Vinci Code and really liked Dan Brown's style of writing and he does seem to do his research. some of the things he has in the Da Vinci Code was really on eye opener for me, because I too read it with an open mind but I can see why some people would be offended by some of the facts, but OH Boy what a concept!! on your recomendation I will read Angels and Demons

At the moment i am reading The Da Vinci Code and i must say roper , up until now Dan Browns ideas seem not too fictive . I know artistic and fictive imagination are involved , factors making a great and highly readable novel . I think there are many surprises too come in his book .

I finished reading last week 'Mother, Son and the Holy Ghost' by Reg Gadney, very very good thriller, murder sort of book, never heard of the author before, reminded me a bit of The DaVinci Code, but a lot more reading to it. this is his 10thnovel so has been around a while.
Picked up some library books when I was out on Friday, more murders lol, finished 'Tell me no Secrets', last night (really lazy day) and have just started 'Kiss Mommy Goodbye' both very good from the same author, Joy Fielding whom I have never heard of either before.

I own 'Kiss Mommy Goodbye'. It is a very good and exciting book though it has alot to do with divorce, I enjoyed it immensely.
