I haven't watched "Trainspotting" yet. Fred said he has already seen that movie and said it was very sad and upsetting and didn't want to see it again. So will have to watch that one when he is not home. I am anxious to see it. It is a pretty disturbing film but worth watching, i was quite shocked the first time I saw it. I watched 'Seven' at the week-end which was good, never saw the ending coming#shock# , also 'White Oelander' also good, both older ones but not bad.

I have been watching the mini-series Elizabeth 1 on HBO this week. Love that period of history. It is very different from the Elizabeth movie that Cate Blanchett portrayed, but still very good. I've heard that series is excellent if its the one with Helen Mirren, hope it comes on here soon.

I watched 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' tonight, I quite enjoyed it, says it is based on a true story, bit of a court room drama about a priest being judged for murder, after helping a girl who had been possessed, one of those films that sort of makes you think a bit after its finished, quite enjoyable.

I hope that you do elly! I think that you'll enjoy it. Watched it over the week-end, was wonderful, really enjoyed it. I was quite shocked to learn it was Liam Neeson's voice doing the lion, sounded very like Sean Connery, have never noticed any similarity before.

Going to look out for that one Llady, 'winter guest' sounds good. and 'Inside Man' too Dreamy, great cast there #tartanberet# I am not a fan of musicals either Rosemary, avoid them normally, but might watch the Phantom, sounds good. I watched 'Flightplan' with Jodie Foster the other day, was very good. Also 'Ae Fond Kiss' which was good too, its the love story between Casim, a young Pakistani man, and Roisin, a young Catholic woman, with the backdrop being modern day Glasgow and the oppositions and problems they run into, very realistic.

Last night we saw a sneak preview of "Failure to Launch". Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) has never been able to leave the nest. He's always had some reason or other, but now, his desperate parents have had enough. They hire the gorgeous and talented girl of his dreams (Sara Jessica Parker) to get him to move out of the house. It was cute and funny. Joseph really enjoyed it. Sounds good Llady, haven't heard of that one before, will look out for it, I really like Matthew McConaughey

I finally saw a Jason Patric film at least it's the first that I remember anyway, 'Geronimo' watched it last week and must say I liked Jason a lot, he even played a good guy #happy# Was a good film though.
Also watched 'Finding Neverland' which was also very good, I think I've yet to see a Kate Winslet film I have disliked, she really is a very good actress.

I watched 'Messiah - The First Killings'' last night on TV, it`s a film made for TV from the BBC, it was absolutely great , loved it. The story follows DCI Metcalfe trying to solve a case of grisly murders being taken out across London. He soon realises a pattern, there is a serial killer on the loose, killing people with the same names and jobs to those of the 12 Apostles and their killings are identical to their matching Apostle. Ken Stott is great as the detective, really enjoyable film. seemingly this is the first one in a series of 3 films that were made so going to see if I can hire the other 2 here on DVD
