I am wanting to do this....bad! Big time, bad! www.celticjourneys.us/outlander.aspTakes you through all the places that are in Diana Gabaldon's books in Scotland. I just spoke with a gal who did this a couple weeks ago. She shared her photos with me and they were awesome! I told Fred I want to do this so very badly...he replied with he bet I did! Anyway, just wanted to share.

Living in Scotland Christine and myself see a lot of these tours while we are out and about the countryside. They appear to be very well organised. And have never heard anything bad about them. Another very good tour company is Timberbush Tours. www.timberbush-tours.co.uk/ We also see a lot of there coaches out and about. Again Timberbush Tours offer the same type of service as the company Desertrose advertises. Hope this helps you out. Neil

Tbanks so much, Neil! My Fred tells me that when we go to Scotland he wants to drive instead of taking any tours, buses and such. We love trains so that may be a weakness for us! hahahahahha I hope we can accomplish as much in a week as these gals did on the "Outlander" tour. Neil, you will have to get Christine to read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. hee hee Does she like to read? Better yet, do you?

Btw, I added Timberbush tours in my favorites. thanks so much for all your help, Neil! Give Andrew a hug for me! You know what? I just happen to mention this, but your Andrew looks very much like Elly's Laughlin. Compare photos and see!

Of what I see I like both tours. When it was my first time in Scotland I was taking a similar one and never regreted it. Easy way to explore the country.

I know I would love it as well. However DH is my problem. He doesn't want to take a tour. He wants to travel on our own....like we know what we are doing...he is a major hard head! I told him I would go on my own, but he is like no way! So I gotta work on this man big time to do what I want to do....aye?

Wow they all sound like fun. I would love to see the DG tour though, I mean, after reading and rereading those books, I already feel like I know the places, kwim?
