Anybody watched "War of the worlds" with Tom Cruise? It just came to our cinemas yesterday and would love to watch the movie soon! We went to the drive in last night and saw War of the Worlds and Unleashed. War of the Worlds was interesting but a bit strange, at least to me.

I was planning to go and see "War of Worlds" soon. What was strange about the movie, LLady? Tom Cruise has made some movies I couldn't get in very well such as "Minority Report" or "Vanilla Sky".

I seem to have a problem with Tom Cruise's movies too for some reason dreamy. To me there were parts of the movie that seemed off. Cruise's character seemed a bit weak too. Parts of the movie just didn't make much sense to me. The special effects were good.

Thank you, LLady. I really have a problem with some of Cruise's "newer" movies, too. I really loved his old ones as "Top Gun", "Days of Thunder", "Mission Impossible " I and II and "The Last Samurai". Hmmm, I will see. Maybe I'll wait until it is out on DVD to rent it then. Thanks again for your comment!

Finally got to see 'The Last of the Mohicans' today, enjoyed it immensely, very good movie, was interesting too from the point of having read the Donati, `Into the Wilderness` series of books, but is really worth watching

I'm glad you liked the movie, Elly. I was quite sure you would...a powerful movie, isn't it? I can hardly count how many times I watched it already.

It's Uncas, Elly...he was quite an eyecatcher there, no? He was some good years younger then.
