I have seen this one also, LLady. I have to admit I went there with mixed emotions because while I loved Episode I I didn't like Episode II at all. But I was very curious to see Anakin's fall and the reasons for him to turn to the Dark Side...and how Lucas managed it to connect to Star Wars IV, "A New Hope". This was quite welldone to my opinion. The special effects were great as always...but I still love the "old" ones most.

My very favorite Star Wars movie was the original one, I've not read any of the books. I did look forward to seeing what led up to Darth Vadar becoming Darth Vadar.

Saw the last third of "Event Horizon" with Sam Neill. Still trying to understand it. It was quite fascinating, although normally I am not really a fan of SciFi-Horror. Has anyone seen the complete film?

Hey, I like Sam Neill actually.
Oh, and I watched "the ninth gate" with Johnny Depp recently (again).

Last weekend I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith! The movie was a lot of fun! Tonight we are going to see Batman! That movie is getting so much publicity over here Llady, seems to be a winner even with the critics, all seem to agree Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolle , a real charismatic match on screen anyway

That movie is a big deal over here too, Elly, with all the gossip surrounding the couple. We have not seen Star Wars yet, although Fred is a big fan of the movies. Looks like we will end up seeing it when it comes out on DVD. I keep hearing mixed reviews on it.
