The Socceroos did it! What a match! Penalties that have been ignored by the referee and his assistants; a Croatian player who got THREE yellow cards while one is supposed to leave the field after the second yellow card in one match ... :-*the referee was off the rocker, I think... ... oh well, finally the result was Croatia vs. Australia : 2:2, which kicked the Croatians off the competition and qualified Australia for the next round. Next match for them will be versus Italy, very very hard. But to qualify for the round of the best 16 was a terrific success for Australia already! #cheers#

Just to say that I'll be watching the Germany v Sweden game today. I used to like Sweden in previous World Cups, but this time they seem to be just lucky to get where they are, soooo... I shall be supporting Germany today. And good luck to Australia, since the mighty Trinidad and Tobago were eliminated, most Scots will be supporting the Soccerooos I think.
Of course we cannot forget Ecuador, "you are on a mission lads, do the business and your flag will hanging from Edinburgh Castle!!"

The English really are lucky b***tards; they acted awfully bad in my opinion. This match was one of - if not THE - worst matches I have seen during the competition.
However, they made it in the quarter final and play vs. Portugal there which beat the Netherlands 1:0.
