Thanks, Dreamy! I would have never guessed that a good of a review from the Rambo film. Watched an HBO film titled, "Doris and Bernard." supposedly was taken from a true story about a wealthy American woman named Doris Duke (portrayed by Susan Sarandon) and her gay butler (Ralph Fienes) from Ireland. Very interesting film indeed. If any of you are interested, here is a Wikipedia description of herself and life. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Duke

I heard this was a horrible movie so I didn't even bother. What did you think, Dreamy? Yesterday we went to the theatre to see "No Country for Old Men'. Holy cow! What a violent movie! I can deal with violence on a different level, such as war. But to have some psychopath who goes around killing innocent people who just happens to be at the wrong place and time and animals too, is beyond my level of interest and enjoyment and I just find totally barbaric. The fact that this movie won Movie of the Year is beyond me. However, Fred really like it! Go figure! Watched "In the Valley of Elah" because Jason Patric was in it. It may not have been that great of a movie, but I enjoyed it so much better than the above movie....even though they had Patric gain about 30 pounds and dress like a nerd! ;D Seriously, I did enjoy the movie somewhat as the message I got out of it all was how ugly is war and how it affects all soldiers and their families of all nations. I have been watching "Highlander - The Source tonight. Has anyone else seen this film yet and what do you think about it?

Saw "No Country for Old Men." Holy cow! what a horrific film! Fred loved it but I found it to be too violent. Having worked in the medical field for 30 plus years, nothing usually bothers me. I can take people shooting one another because they know what is coming, but when they start killing animals it literally makes me sick.
so no, I did not like this film. Can't even believe it won Best Film!
