The reason for Joes Hair Style is for the next film they are about to start making. I have been told who and what it is about but not going to say a the moment. But will say this the band members feel honoured to have been asked to play the parts in this next film. Plus I think I am safe in saying this next film will be a cracker.

Hi to you all. I was in Edinburgh last night to watch Clann An Drumma play at one of the other venues they are playing at. Last night it was Hunter Square midway down the Royal Mile. Plus I am now testing with a brand new camera which we only got approx three hours before Clann An Drumma were playing. So it was work out what the controls do and then test the camera out this is some of the results from last night. this is a few photos at the moment.

This is a selection of photos from the Clann An Drumma Thunder in the Glens Concert at Aviemore. Which was run by the Dunedin Harley Davidson owners group from Edinburgh. Both Christine and myself were asked by the band if we could attend this event to take photos. Mainly for the bands website and for our own use. Yesterday was spent sorting out what I think is the best of over 110 photos of the concert. And submitting onto the bands website. So I hope you enjoy what we think are good photos. The band just getting started. Some of the crowd enjoying the music. Taken before the dance floor was to crowded to take photos. Joe from Clann An Drumma getting the kids involved. What is was like with the band plus the extras on stage. Clann An Drumma were then asked to lead the crowd out to the main cark park area. Which they did and played untill the Fireworks were ready to be set of. Sorry I do not have photos of this that I can use on the forum. The problem is that they are just to large in picture size. The problem was I at this point I was using my camera plus three other camers for other people at the same time. Which resulted in a setting being altered on my camera. Which I did not notice untill it was to late. But I hope you all enjoyed the photos. I have put more photoswhich were taken on the journey up in the regional section. Neil

Hi to you all Just thought I would let you know that Clann An Drumma were playing in Barrhead yesterday. For World Poverty Awareness Day. The only problem was that the venue was held outside the Church and it was heavy rain. So due to the band playing natural drum skins. This was problem number one. Problem numbr two way that the rain was dripping of the church roof and hitting Brian the Piper. So he was trying angle the pipes inorder to keep the rain out of them. All those who took part did well. And perhaps this event might be held indoors next year. We travelled through thinking the weather might improve. Wrong. So I only managed to get a few photo taken with our camera. I was also asked to taken photos with other peoples cameras. Again I was only taking a few due to the bad weather. Clann An Drumma outside the church. Even the Church minister joined in with the band. one of the stalls drumming up customers in time to Clann An Drumma. You are never to old to play the drums. Ok then Bongos. We are still trying to work out if the Gafer tape adds extra sound or not. Christine says no she does not want a hat like this. As you can see the Minister was enjoying this event. Just a pity his boss did not grant better weather. The last photo before the weather got to bad. Afterthe band finished i gave them a hand o dry of the drums etc and load the van. Then we were invited back to a band members house for coffee and a chat and meet his other half before driving back home. It was a great day out even though it rained. The band are playing in Alloa tonight then they are over in Holland at the weekend. More reports to follow when we get the chance. Neil

Hi to all you Clann An Drumma Fans. Sorry I have not reported for a few weeks. But thought I would pop in to letyou all know the band are just back from Ireland where they have gone down very very well. And think they might be booked up for next year already with what I have heard via the Motor Cycle jungle drums. The big day for Clann An Drumma is on the 7th of Oct 2006. Where are playing at the following venues. Hampden Park Glasgow. For the Scotland v France Euro Championship Football Match. Then they travel over to Dunfermline in Fife for the Dunfermline Beer Festival. Then they travel over to Drymen west of Stirling on the road to Loch Lomond for the third venue of the day. So it looks like we shall be heading to Dunfermline to catch up with them andget more photos. Unless There is a change of Plan and we take in two venues. But I am sure it will be Dunfermline. I should point out that when Clann An Drumm played at Murrayfield earlier this year Scotland beat England 18 12. So here is hoping they can lift the Scotland Football team the same way they the Scotland rugby Team. Now was there not a song using 1812 as the title.
