hey Jacqui! I wondered about Tristan and Isolde. I heard it was a horrible movie, so I have not seen it yet.... but it comes on my satellite movies soon and I will watch it then. Last night I watched "The Stepford Wives." Anybody seen this movie? It had an ending that I totally did not expect. Don't want to say anymore than that in case some of you did not see it. It was a really good movie though! Rose I never listen too closely to the critics. When they go to see a movie they are doing the same thing that we do, voice our opinion. I've really enjoyed movies that the critics gave bad reviews. I've even gone to movies that good reviews and hated them.

TRISTAN & ISOLDE The medieval legend of a princess and warrior's love affair, which threatens to tear apart an uneasy peace between England and Ireland. A tale of epic battles, royal intrigue and a timeless, star-crossed passion. Starring: James Franco, Sophia Myles, Rufus Sewell, David O'Hara, Mark Strong A few exciting battle scenes, the movie was a bit too long for me. sounds like my kind of film llady, will watch out for that one too. It was ok elly, but 2 hours was too long.

I think that it's worth seeing dreamy. The focus is very much on the action at times but it was exciting. Be sure to stay until after the credits we had kids with us and couldn't, but I hear that something happened on the screen after the credits were over.

X-Men: The Last Stand The X-Men, mutant heroes sworn to defend a world that hates and fears them, are back! This time, with the help of new recruits The Beast and Angel, they must face evolution itself in the form of their former teammate, Jean Grey. Possessed with the cosmic power of the Dark Phoenix, the resurrected Jean Grey has become a danger to herself, her mutant comrades, and the entire planet. To stave off this imminent threat to humanity, a potential cure is discovered and processed to treat -- and ultimately eliminate -- genetic mutations, once and for all. Now, as the battle lines are drawn, the X-Men, led by Professor Charles Xavier, must contend with both Jean Grey's world-consuming powers, as well as the malevolent Brotherhood, a band of powerful mutants organized under Xavier's former ally, Magneto. Action junkie? This one has your name written all over it! Never a dull moment. A few surprises!

"Aeon Flux" In the 25th century, a rampaging virus has forced the remnants of humanity into the seclusion of a final city. There is great political conflict within, however, and this is the story of an acrobatic assassin, Aeon Flux (Theron), whose latest target is the government's top leader. Starring: Charlize Theron, Frances McDormand, Marton Csokas, Jonny Lee Miller, Sophie Okonedo If you enjoy action and/ or sci fi you will love it! It was a lot of action and a lot of fun!

so dreamy, how OLD is OLD? #confused# He is over 60 now which isn't OLD in general, of course not; just compared to his ways as "Indiana Jones" ... at his age most actors don't do the stunt scenes any more he still does. This is what I mean. And it's great how he is still acting - despite of his age... Well, does this make any sense? It does

so dreamy, how OLD is OLD? #confused# Last night me and my friend Jan had a girls not out we had dinner and then went to see; RV An overworked executive, Bob Munro (Robin Williams), persuades his wife and children to give up their Hawaiian vacation for some "family bonding" on a cross-country RV trip. But it's all a ruse. Bob has other, more career-oriented reasons on his mind than spending quality time with his family in the Rocky Mountains. Through a series of misadventures, including constant run-ins with an overly friendly troupe of full-time RV'ers, Bob inadvertently learns the true meaning of family. Robin Williams as usual was funny and goofy and so was the movie. I had a few laughs but could have waited for the DVD. STARRING: Robin Williams, Kristin Chenoweth, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Daniels, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Jojo Levesque, Joanna Levesque

Going to look out for that one Llady, 'winter guest' sounds good. and 'Inside Man' too Dreamy, great cast there #tartanberet# I am not a fan of musicals either Rosemary, avoid them normally, but might watch the Phantom, sounds good. I watched 'Flightplan' with Jodie Foster the other day, was very good. Also 'Ae Fond Kiss' which was good too, its the love story between Casim, a young Pakistani man, and Roisin, a young Catholic woman, with the backdrop being modern day Glasgow and the oppositions and problems they run into, very realistic. and I'll be looking out for that one elly! It sounds interesting.

"Winter Guest"
In a Scottish beach community filled with colorful locals, Frances, a newly widowed photographer, is toying with the idea of moving to Australia with her teenage son, Alex. Her mother aggressively forces her to choose between her loyalty to the living and the memory of the dead. While they argue, Alex is awkwardly approaching his first sexual experience with a young local girl while two old ladies are introduced as professional mourners who attend every funeral in town. The stories layer upon one another and address themes of life and death, age and youth.
Starring: Emma Thompson, Phyllida Law, Sheila Reid, Sandra Voe, Arlene Cockburn
