Last Rites (1988)
Michael Pace (Tom Berenger), a Catholic priest whose father is a Mafia don, falls in love with Angela (Daphne Zuniga), a murder witness. To complicate matters, the murder Angela witnessed was the vendetta shooting of Michael's sister's husband, who turned in state evidence on his father-in-law, the don. Michael's torn between his dedication to Christ, loyalty to his family and his feelings for Angela, who turns out to be anything but innocent.
To me the movie was a little weird and just a bit confusing.

I have quite a huge range when it comes to movies too dreamy. I like what I like.

You may find it interesting Elly. The language is a bit too strong at times, but it's easy to be drawn into the story lines. Ian McShane was nominated for an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Swearengen but didn't win.

Cool LLady i love that sort of film fast , furious and loads of action will have to check it out It was a very fast paced movie smudger! Some of the fight scenes were a bit longer than in the first movie I think! He's still a very cool character!

Saw "The Fantastic Four" on Sunday. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate it a 5.

I seem to have a problem with Tom Cruise's movies too for some reason dreamy. To me there were parts of the movie that seemed off. Cruise's character seemed a bit weak too. Parts of the movie just didn't make much sense to me. The special effects were good.

Anybody watched "War of the worlds" with Tom Cruise? It just came to our cinemas yesterday and would love to watch the movie soon! We went to the drive in last night and saw War of the Worlds and Unleashed. War of the Worlds was interesting but a bit strange, at least to me.

That movie is a big deal over here too, Elly, with all the gossip surrounding the couple. We have not seen Star Wars yet, although Fred is a big fan of the movies. Looks like we will end up seeing it when it comes out on DVD. I keep hearing mixed reviews on it. aye, I haven`t saw the first `Star Wars` movie yet, always meant to, but never got around to it, awful isn`t it? but that film with Brad Pitt, WOW! it is getting some publicity here for sure Seems they have a bit of chemistry going on between them those two, well good, will have to go see it, shame just because they are doing good parts it descends on their private lives but guess that`s Hollywood I saw the first Star Wars movie 20 times!
